  • Oakley from CPB Twyford offers very high yields of marketable hard feed grain.
  • Oakley is a Robigus cross that offers good disease resistance, especially for Brown Rust, and is slightly shorter than Robius.
  • Oakley has performed particularly well as a first wheat and on lighter soils.
  • Oakley has the added bonus of Orange Blossom Midge Resistance

  • Humber is the other new variety from CPB Twyford. 
  • Humber is a very high yielding hard feed wheat with bold, plump grains.  
  • Humber has very short stiff straw and has good disease resistance including excellent yellow rust resistance (9).
  • Humber is suitable for early sowing and having good eyespot resistance also suits second and subsequent wheat situations.

  • Sahara from the Nickerson is a high yielding hard feed wheat with high specific weights.
  • Sahara is a Savannah / Claire cross but has excellent standing with moderately tall straw.
  • Sahara has good disease resistance, particularly Yellow Rust (9) & Septoria Tritici (6)
  • Sahara is a variety that would suit a first or second wheat situation.
