Local MP for Peterborough Stewart Jackson has offcially opened the new offices of Dalton Seeds and Dalmark Grain.


The £1.3 million re-development includes, inter alia, an extension to the grain and seed trading office, a 100m2 central atrium, three new meeting rooms, a gymnasium and improved catering and rest room facilities. Encompassed in the project is 890m2 – of which 430m2 is new build and 460m2 refurbishment.


The works commenced on Monday 2nd November and were completed in early July. 


This major investment in office accommodation, is in addition to the group’s recent significant spend on seed cleaning, treating and storage – itself totally circa £2 million.


Managing Director of Dalton Seeds, Peter Fox commented:

The Dalmark Group comprises of two strong independent businesses – Dalton Seeds and Dalmark Grain.

Dalton Seeds, established in 1952, specialises in providing a full range of agricultural seeds, offering quality and service second to none.

Dalmark Grain, established in 1976, is a grain merchanting business trading all combinable crops to markets both home and abroad.
