Field Inspecting

To ensure the seed crop is clear of variety admixtures and problem weeds Dalton's trained staff will inspect your crops intended for seed, during June and July. A full report on the quality of the crop will be given, along with any advice to improve the crop for seed use.

Seed Testing for Purity, Germination and Vigour

Daltons will analyse for purity and test the germination and vigour of a sample of your harvested grain. Disease tests are available on request.

Processing and Treatment

Using Dalton's modern specialist seed cleaning plant, seed is processed to certified seed standards or higher. Seed treatment is applied using precision seed treatment applicators, by fully trained staff.

Seed Supply Guarantee

To ensure the seed is on the farm when it is required Daltons will agree and guarantee processing and delivery deadlines. This is normally less than ten days from germination results.
