There are laboratory facilities for Dalmark Grain and Daltons Seeds.

Seed Laboratory

The seed laboratory is licensed by the Ministry of Agriculture. It carries out relevant tests as part of the seed certification process and ensures quality control is of the highest standard. It also tests as grown material from farmers and merchants.

Seed is tested for the following:

• Moisture
• Screenings
• Purity
• Germination - rapid and sand tests available
• Thousand Grain Weight
• Disease
• Vigour

Crop Inspecting Service

To ensure the seed crop is clear of variety admixtures and problem weeds our trained staff will inspect your crops intended for seed, during June and July. A full report on the quality of the crop will be given, along with any advice to improve the crop for seed use.
