Established in 1952, Dalton Seeds is one of the largest independent, family- owned seed businesses in the UK. Our commitment is to producing high quality seed and a service to farmers that is second to none.
Our modern seed plant at Eye, Peterborough, uses the latest seed processing technology and can produce a full range of cereals, pulses and oilseeds. In addition to supplying farmers with quality seed, we also contract process seed for a number of national and international seed breeders and suppliers.
We are continually investing in modernising our cleaning and treating equipment as we pride ourselves in producing the highest quality produce. Our close links with all the major plant breeding companies and our sister company Dalmark Grain means that we can select seed varieties that are most suited to the local conditions and for local markets.
Through our plant, we can produce 400mt of seed in a day and have on-site storage for 3200mt.
We pride ourselves on a first class delivery service, always notifying farmers in advance of arriving on farm.
